Day one: Dublin
Depart from Dublin Heuston Station in the early afternoon. Lunch is served on board as the train travels north along the coast and through the green Irish countryside.

On arrival in Belfast set off on a fascinating Black Taxi Tour to take in the city’s highlights. Then step back in time as you visit The Titanic Experience. This award-winning attraction uses special effects to recreate the history of the ill-fated ocean liner.

Return to the train and enjoy a leisurely dinner followed by the evening’s entertainment.

Day two: Waterford
Awake to a tempting breakfast as the beautiful countryside passes by.

Arriving at the historic Viking port of Waterford, you’ll disembark to visit Curraghmore House. Take an exclusive tour of the magnificent mansion and grounds followed by a delicious afternoon tea.

The discovery continues as you head to the House of Waterford Crystal for an insightful tour. Learn how the master craftsmen create beloved sparkling pieces by hand.

A sumptuous dinner on board is complemented by a traditional music performance in the Observation Car.

Day three: Dublin
Savour your last breakfast aboard as the train returns to Dublin, where you disembark for your onward travel arrangements.

Day one: Dublin
Depart from Dublin in the early afternoon and travel to Cork, enjoying afternoon tea en-route.

Arrive in Cork in the early evening and transfer to the Jameson Experience for a private tour. Learn about the history of the whiskey-making process before a tasting session. Rejoin the train for a spectacular dinner as it continues to Charleville for the night.

Day two: Blarney Castle
After breakfast, head off for a private tour of Blarney Castle and Gardens, home to the fabled Blarney Stone. Enjoy morning coffee in Blarney House. After lunch, continue to the Lakes of Killarney. A tour by traditional jaunting car, a pony and trap, is followed by a boating excursion on Lough Leane.

Back on board, dinner is served as the train stables for the night.

Day three: Galway
Enjoy a leisurely morning on board as the train travels north towards Galway. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant accompanied by champagne and oysters.

Step into a traditional pub for a classic Irish experience. Learn an Irish dance and try out your bodhran (Irish drum) skills before pulling your own pint of Guinness. Afterwards, take time to explore Galway at your leisure. Alternatively, spend the entire afternoon revelling in Galway’s bohemian charm at your own pace.

Head back on board for dinner as the train continues on to Athlone where it will stable for the night.

Day four: Westport
Relax as the train winds through the countryside towards Westport. Disembark for a scenic drive through County Mayo.

Rejoin the coach for your onward journey to Ashford Castle, where you’ll enjoy an interactive falconry experience plus a guided walk of the hotel grounds. Enjoy a private lunch in the George V Dining Room before you depart from the castle for a transfer to the home of Joe & Mary Ann Joyce.

Enjoy an exhilarating sheepdog trial at their working farm. Afterwards, head to the heart of Killary Harbour to visit the Sheep and Wool centre. Discover the art of traditional yarn spinning, before savouring the views and photo opportunities in this naturally beautiful region.

Rejoin the train for the final dinner onboard.

Day five: Dublin
The train makes its final journey back to Dublin, where you will disembark for your onward travel arrangements.

Day one: Dublin
Board the train in Dublin in the early afternoon, and savour a delicious afternoon tea as the train begins its journey.

Arrive in Cork and visit the Jameson Experience. A private tour explores the history of the whiskey-making process, before guests are invited to participate in a tasting session.

Back on board, your first dinner is served as the train continues to Charleville, where it will stable for the night to ensure a good night's rest.

The day starts out with a private tour of Blarney Castle & Gardens where guests will have the opportunity to kiss the legendary Blarney Stone. Enjoy morning coffee in the Blarney House.

Lunch is served on board before continuing to the Lakes of Killarney. A pony-and-trap tour is followed by a boating excursion across Lough Leane. Head back to the train for dinner.

Day three: Galway
This morning your journey continues north to Galway for a tour. Lying on the River Corrib, let yourself be enchanted by this romantic city.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.  Champagne and oysters set the scene for a fun-filled afternoon.

Revel in a traditional Irish experience at a charming local pub where you'll learn to play the bodhran (Irish drum) and to pull your own pint of Guinness, before taking part in an Irish dance. 

Afterwards, step into the city to explore at your leisure. Alternatively, spend the entire afternoon soaking up Galway's bohemian charm at your own pace. 

Return to the train for dinner as the train continues on to Athlone.

Day four: Westport
Breakfast is accompanied by stunning pastoral views from your cabin's windows as the train continues to Westport.

Join the coach for an excursion to Ashford Castle. Activities include an interactive falconry experience plus a guided walk of the gardens, as well as a private lunch.

Afterwards, take a short transfer to the home of Joe and Mary Ann Joyce to enjoy an exhilarating sheepdog trial at their working farm. 

Head to the Sheep and Wool Centre in the heart of Killary Harbour to discover the art of yarn spinning, then take to the outdoors to soak up the breathtaking views and perfect photo opportunities to be enjoyed in this beautiful region.

Day five: Dublin
Your journey winds back towards Dublin where you can enjoy an optional half-day tour of the vibrant Irish capital.

Key sights include Trinity College, home to the ancient Book of Kells, Trinity College and the National Art Gallery of Ireland.

Rejoin the train and continue to Belfast. Here, disembark for a famous Black Taxi Tour of the city and a private visit to The Titanic Experience. This fascinating attraction explores the history of the famed ocean liner.

Day six: Waterford
This morning, the train journeys south to the historic Viking port of Waterford. Disembark to visit Curraghmore House, where you enjoy an exclusive tour of the house, grounds and stables before a classic afternoon tea.

The magnificent mansion boasts some of the finest neoclassical rooms in Ireland, while its expansive formal gardens include an intriguing shell house built by Catherine, Countess of Tyrone, in 1754. 

You'll then be escorted to the Bishop's palace for a private after hours tour hosted by the director. Enjoy an unrivalled view of the finest collection of 17th century Irish silver, and marvel at the oldest piece of Waterford Crystal in the world with an exclusive glass making presentation. 

Return to the train for a sumptuous dinner, followed by a performance by traditional local musicians in the Observation Car.
